Queen Bmazazhi Karu, the first Haitian-African-American Queen was born Marie Antoinette Jean Pierre Theligene in the beautiful country of Haiti, in Cap Haitian. At the age of 12, she moved to Brooklyn, NY. She was called to found "Valley of Love Ministries in 2004. They embrace those in need (the homeless and less fortunate) with guidance and stability as they are experiencing everyday life crisis. They currently serve food to over 500 families in Palm Beach County, Florida. On September 9, 2021, she was crowned by the Gbagyi people in Karu Nasarawa, Nigeria. She holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, is an International Police Chaplain, as well as a preschool Director and teacher. She recently attended the inaugural 'Journey of Reconciliation of Mother Africa and Her Diaspora' with other African and Indigenous Kings and Queens in Panamá. She also returned from a mission to Haiti in collaboration with the NGO Sukhi222 to deliver "lifegiving" water filters (free of cholera, typhoid and dysentery) to several communities.
